"Whipping Myself into Shape" (Blog #0)About Nutrition for the better In this project I will be working to improve my health for the better. I will be challenging myself to eat healthier and workout to get myself in shape. This journey will be happening over a 12 week period. I will be keeping all of you up to date every week or so. Over this 12 week period I will strive to create a healthier diet and to improve my physical well being also.
The first step in improving my physical well being will be to build up my skills on running. You can't just wake up one day without ever running and expect to run a marathon, you have to build up to it. So the first few days I am just going to be doing a light jog on the treadmill. During this I will be tracking my calories and time I had been working out. My fitbit watch will be helping me do this. The fit bit watch helps me count my steps that I walk in a day and my calories burned. The fit bit app also doubles as a motivator because it sends you notifications to keep you moving! The other part of this journey will be keeping myself on a diet. It is going to be hard but definitely worth it in the long run. I can never expect myself to have a better physical well being without eating right also. Eating right will factor over to building up my workout times and runs. I can't eat chips all day and expect myself to be a healthy runner. It all contributes into each other. By saying all this I will be setting up daily meal plans for myself to whip myself in shape. Do you know who or what your biggest enemy is? Have you ever really thought about it? I know that one of my biggest weaknesses are my own self. The little voice in the back of your head that tells you, you can't do something. That is my biggest enemy. I am my own reason for self doubt. You have to push that little voice out of your head and tell yourself you can. Because many people will doubt you, but you can do this. Do not ever give up on yourself. You can do this. Blog #1
